The Chico Story
A few years ago Beaufort RFC's goodwill ambassador, Huw Lewis, was on a fact finding mission in the slums of Peru.
There he found a young rabid Chico dancing for money. After looking into his doleful eyes those big heart strings were pulled and he brought him back to the loving fold of Beaufort RFC. The combination of dressing like gigolo from Miami Vice and a steady diet of drinking alcohol through a funnel soon nursed the lovable little chap back to health.
After training hard he made his way into the Beaufort Senior team on the 27th September 2009. His running like an asthmatic greyhound was deceptive, the effort of charging down balls with his face was paid off with a fine try and rightly deserved man of the match award.
Well done Chico, we Love you man.
