Video Report Beaufort v Trefil 30th Aug 2008

Undefeated in 2!!! Not a bad start chaps, very pleasing. Realisticely though we should have scored a few more tries. Territory wise we had at least 70% of the game. We r not quite clinical enuff to finish em off, but when our fitness levels rise then so will our ability 2 kill off teams.

From a 4wards coach point of view, i was happy with the lineouts, simple calls and they were executed well, the scrum was a difficult 1 2 gauge cos they went passive in the 2nd half. The ruck was a tad frustrating 4 me cos they slowed the ball down very well. Buzz was constantly trying 2 dig the ball out, but we'll work on that in training.

All in all, i woz reasonably pleased but we'll need 2 raise another notch to challenge teams on the 6th division.

Here are the photo's from yesterdays game, its a shame we didnt capture the "chin knock on" which would have been the first in history.

Incidentally if you want to borrow my bonk leg for kicking Dilwyn you will find my rates most reasonable, I rent it out for kids parties, weddings and Barmitzvah's (only joking skipper, I thought it was over).
