A win's a win gentlemen. Sometimes you have to win ugly and the performance on Saturday was more uglier than the women in Caerphilly social club on a Friday nite!!!!
Passive scrums just don't suit us. They had their elderly players still trundling around the paddock in the 70th minute, whereas if they had to compete at scrum time they would have tired long b4 the 70-80th minute!!!
I know people don't deliberately knock the ball on but it was so uncharacteristic on Saturday. We raised the bar quite high with the game against Caerleon and we dipped quite alarmingly on Saturday. I won't dwell cos after all we won, its nice in a way to be critical when we are winning!!
We have a chance to redeem ourselves on Saturday when we travel away to Whiteheads. That again is a potential banana skin. Focus, focus is the word and hopefully in the 2 training sessions this week we'll see the Fort of old on Saturday.
