That's more like it!!! We showed in patches yesterday, the true Beaufort!!! I think we went a long way in exorcising the poor previous weeks performance. It's not 100% rosy though. Our indiscipline around the contact area is a mounting concern. Trust in your defence chaps!!! We are a strong defensive side, let the opposition make the mistakes.
The line outs went well. Gomez varied the line outs excellently. I think he's growing into the role of line out manager!! The scrums went well, they didn't have an easy time there. Marcus has shaken off his early season injuries and is playing well. The back row were industrious, i think the competition for places in the back row is upping every ones game, nice to see!!! The 2 second rows were everywhere yesterday, real athletes, strong in the first phase area.
The Shirlee's behind are fizzing also. Geraint is certainly living up to his nickname of rhino. He's a perfect foil 4 Mikey White who's mazy runs are killing teams. Daryll shook off the disappointment of last week and played his usual strong - get-over-the-gain-line-game!! There's also competition for places on the wing, Lee Roper had an impressive game yesterday. He was strong defensively and he occasionally showed what he could do with ball in hand.
Overall chaps its a 6/10 game.
Next week we haven't la eague game but we will have a game, as yet we don't know.
You wont see me next week in training, I'm back to work. So I'll see you on Saturday
